Thanks to Doug driving all around Hawaii Island, I was able to make it from Hilo to Klawock in much shorter time that last year. The overnight flight from Kona to Seattle was a little bit tortuous on my body. But I still made my Ketchikan and Klawock connections, even with a delay in Kona. Being mostly awake for that amount of time, made for a very sound sleep my first night on the boat. It's a real "turn and burn" schedule. I usually take a float plane into Craig, or a ferry to Hollis. This time, I took a fixed wheel plane (much faster and more smooth) to Klawock. I enjoyed it so much, that I took a bunch of pictures and videos.
