It's becoming my practice to hike the Sulphur Banks trail and the Rim Trail around Halema'uma'u on the Summer Solstice. I start out thinking that I'm only going to do part of it, but once I get going, I keep going. It's a good place to meditate and say a few prayers along the way. The Jagger Museum has become considerably more crowded at dusk, due to all the lava activity that happened a couple of months ago. It's probably better to show up there in the wee hours of the morning. As a result of yesterday's walk, I slept for a solid 10 hours last night. I'm really making up for all the lack of sleep from which I suffer during the school year. I also seem to be healing from the medical procedures and bugs that were plaguing me in May. Hawaii Island is indeed "the healing place."

What an exquisite way to enter into summer, leaving the hectic nature of school behind. Thank you for the sweet pictures as well. Happy health, blessings for your healing as well.
