Speaking assessment data analysis
Below is data for Spanish 1 speaking assessment for Unit 4. The assess reflects the communicative strategy of a role play. Students did not do as well on the Unit 4 assessment as the Unit 3 assessment. This is probably due to the fact that they had fewer speaking practice sessions, due to breaks in the school schedule. Some students did however show improvement between the pre-test and post-test for this unit. (12/9/14): Objective for this unit was to be able to talk about school subjects and class schedules.

Below is data for Spanish 2 speaking assessment for Unit 8. The objective/standard for this unit was to be able to discuss clothing purchases made (in past tense). Most students showed improvement between pre and post test. Strategy: Role-play.

Below is data for Spanish 1 Grammar Objective "gustar". The standard/objective is to be able to express likes and dislikes, using correct grammatical structures. Highlight strategy: writing practice with the verb "gustar."
